These are:  <\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Injection Molding Technology (Injection Molding) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CNC Turning Technology (CNC Turning)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>Each of these technologies has its advantages and disadvantages and is suitable for different situations. A comparison of both technologies can be found below. More information about our production capabilities <a href=\"https:\/\/reontech.cz\/en\/products\/seals-for-hydraulics-and-pneumatics\/\">can be found here<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Injection Molding Technology<\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>Process:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Injection of plastic or elastomer into a mold under high pressure, where the material hardens.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Primarily used for thermoplastics and elastomers. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Advantages:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>High-volume production:<\/strong> The technology is suitable for manufacturing large series with a low unit cost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Repeatability: <\/strong>Each piece produced by injection molding has consistent dimensions and quality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Complex shapes possible:<\/strong> The injection mold allows for the production of seals with very complex geometries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Production speed:<\/strong> Once the mold is created, a large number of pieces can be produced quickly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Disadvantages: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Initial costs:<\/strong> High costs for manufacturing injection molds, which can be uneconomical for small series.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mold accuracy demands: <\/strong>Any design change requires modification or a new mold, which can be time-consuming and costly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CNC Turning Technology<\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>Process: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Seals are manufactured by removing material from a blank using a computer-controlled CNC lathe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Advantages:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Flexibility:<\/strong> CNC technology allows for rapid adaptation to design changes without the need to produce new molds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>High precision:<\/strong> CNC machines achieve very high precision and are ideal for manufacturing seals with tight tolerances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Suitable for small series and prototypes:<\/strong> Production costs are not quantity-dependent, making this method suitable for small series or one-off orders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wide range of materials:<\/strong> CNC turning allows for working with various materials, including metals and special plastics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Disadvantages: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Slower production:<\/strong> The process is more time-consuming compared to injection molding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Higher unit costs:<\/strong> For large series, the cost per piece can be higher than with injection molding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Less complex shapes:<\/strong> Turning is more suitable for simpler geometries, while more complex shapes may be more difficult to achieve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Seal Manufacturing Technology<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Injection molding<\/strong> is more advantageous for high-volume production of seals with complex shapes and requirements for low unit cost.
