It is most commonly used for the manufacture of slatted screens, swing gates, protective screens, transparent barriers and other elements used to separate work areas, reduce heat loss and protect employees and technology. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is plasticized PVC and why is it used in industry?<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Softened PVC is created by adding plasticizers to <a href=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Polyvinylchlorid\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Polyvinylchlorid\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">polyvinyl chloride<\/a>, giving the material elasticity, flexibility and the ability to withstand repeated mechanical stresses. Unlike hard PVC, it retains its flexibility even at low temperatures and can absorb shock without permanent deformation. Logistics centre &#8211; dusty part of the warehouse<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Task:<\/strong><br\/>The customer was dealing with a method of separating the dispatch part of the warehouse with frequently opened doors to the exterior &#8211; increased dustiness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Material chosen:<\/strong><br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/reontech.cz\/en\/material\/softened-pvc-strips\/\">Softened PVC strips<\/a>, thickness 3 mm <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Result<\/strong><br\/>Separation of individual zones with no restrictions on forklift passage. The slatted screens effectively separate the dusty area but do not restrict the operation of the handling equipment. Industrial water treatment plant &#8211; flat sealing of pipe joints<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Job:<\/strong><br\/>In water treatment for industrial applications, the customer was looking for a suitable material for sealing pipe joints with an emphasis on durability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Material of choice:<\/strong><br\/>Custom-made intermediate ring made from a roll of <a href=\"https:\/\/reontech.cz\/en\/material\/plasticized-pvc-rolls\/\">plasticized PVC<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Result<\/strong><br\/>The material perfectly fulfils the sealing effect and also has a very long service life.
