POM
Polyoxymethylene (POM) materials are characterized by high dimensional stability, low friction, and excellent machinability. Thanks to their combination of strong physical properties, they are ideal for producing precise structural components and complex shapes.
POM is widely used in engineering, gas industry, food processing, aerospace, electronics, automotive, and medical sectors. Compared to polyamides, these materials have significantly lower water absorption, ensuring higher dimensional accuracy and stability in operation.
Common trade names include: Sustarin, Delrin, Tecaform, Ertacetal.
