Polyurethane
A material that excels in a combination of excellent mechanical properties, high resistance to abrasion and wear, elasticity, high tensile strength, and other parameters. It is resistant to hydrolysis and can therefore be used for long-term contact with water. Selected types are FDA-approved and can also be used in the food industry.
Polyurethanes are well suited for the production of sealing elements and, especially in the field of hydraulics, are the most commonly used material for the manufacture of seals.
