Aflas, TFE/P

Aflas material is a special type of fluoroelastomer that, compared to standard FPM compounds, excels in even higher chemical resistance and can be used in situations where regular FPM cannot be used.

It features excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals and high temperatures. Its long-term temperature resistance ranges from 0°C to +200°C. When used with hot air, the temperature resistance extends up to +230°C. It is used to manufacture components that must meet the highest demands and requirements. It is particularly suitable for applications involving steam up to 170°C. It can also be used in situations where 100% Methanol is the medium.

It offers long-term resistance to concentrated acids and bases, as well as oils, aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, and aviation fuel. It also provides excellent resistance to weathering, high temperatures, and ozone.
