
FPM 80 Sh.A FDA
FPM material is notable for its excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals and high temperatures. Its long-term temperature resistance is -20°C to +220°C. When used with hot air, the temperature resistance is up to +300°C.
It is used for the production of components that are subject to the highest demands and requirements. The material has FDA certification and can therefore be used in the food industry.
It offers long-term resistance to concentrated acids and bases, as well as oils, aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, and aviation fuel. It also provides excellent resistance to weathering, high temperatures, and ozone.
It is not resistant to glycols, ketones, and most liquids containing amines and water/steam in the long term.
