Therm Mica M

THERM MICA material is a mica laminate designed primarily for electro-mechanical and thermo-mechanical applications.

It consists of approximately 90% mica, with the remaining approximately 10% being a binder, which is a silicone resin resistant to very high temperatures.

THERM MICA mica sheets combine resistance to high temperatures (up to 1000°C) with the ability to provide very high electrical insulation. The material also has low thermal conductivity, very high resistance to pressure and chemicals. It does not contain asbestos and is environmentally safe.

Type M (muscovite) is suitable for use in lower temperature environments (800°C), but has higher strength and resistance.
