PTFE

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE, known as Teflon) is a specialized fluoroplastic with exceptional chemical resistance and a wide operating temperature range (-200 °C to +260 °C, up to +300 °C short-term). It has the lowest coefficient of friction of all solid materials, extremely low adhesion, and excellent electrical insulation properties. These characteristics make it suitable for demanding industrial applications, providing longer service life, higher safety, and reliability. Its drawback is lower mechanical strength, which can be partially improved through fillers.
