PTFE + Bronze

PTFE + bronze is a composite material combining the advantages of pure PTFE with the strength and stability of a bronze filler. As a result, it exhibits higher dimensional stability, better thermal conductivity, and increased wear resistance. It still retains very good sliding properties and chemical resistance. Compared to pure PTFE, the tendency to extrude is also reduced while maintaining excellent sliding properties. The added bronze also ensures increased abrasion resistance.

The material’s temperature resistance ranges from -200° to +260°C.

Product examples and applications:

Self-lubricating bearings, plain bearings, piston rings, sealing elements, guides and slide rails in hydraulics and pneumatics, parts for high mechanical loads, components for environments with higher temperatures.
