POM

POM material is designed for operating temperatures from -45°C to +100°C.

This is an industrial plastic that excels primarily in its high strength, good mechanical properties, dimensional stability, low water absorption, excellent wear resistance, and good sliding properties.

Due to its properties, it is highly suitable for machining to produce precise, dimensionally and shape-stable components and sliding elements. In the sealing field, it is most commonly used for manufacturing backup and guide rings.

POM has FDA certification and can therefore be used in the food industry.

The material is resistant to fuels, water, alkalis, lubricants, alcohols, and solvents.

It is not suitable for concentrated acids, ethers, and has limited use in applications involving long-term exposure to UV radiation or hot water.
