Technical plastics, such as POM (polyoxymethylene), PA (polyamide), UHMW-PE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene), and layered textile laminates, are proven materials with wide applications. These thermoplastics and composites are characterized by high pressure resistance, low friction, good wear resistance, and the ability to operate even in emergency dry-running conditions. Thanks to these properties, they are especially used in guide elements, backup rings, and other components for demanding industrial applications.
