REONPACK GG 020 is a flexible gasket made of high quality expanded graphite yarn. Carbon content is 95%, chloride content is less than 50 ppm. It is impregnated with graphite and can be impregnated with a corrosion inhibitor to increase the sealing ability at higher temperatures.

The REONPACK GG 020 seal is designed for sealing pumps. The adaptability and natural compressibility of graphite guarantees good sealing properties at relatively low loads. REONPACK GK 018 is designed for rotary and reciprocating applications. It is also recommended for valve sealing and as a static seal. The natural compressibility of graphite ensures good sealing properties at relatively low loads. Carbon yarn increases the strength of the packing when sealing high pressures and temperatures.

The GK 018 seal is characterized by excellent resistance to chemicals (except strong oxidizing agents) and is therefore suitable for steam, water, oil, solvents, acids and most chemicals in the petrochemical, chemical, cryogenic, heating and power plant industries.
