PTFE + Graphite
PTFE + graphite is a reinforced composite that combines the excellent sliding properties of PTFE with the strength and thermal conductivity of graphite. The material is characterized by a low coefficient of friction, high dimensional stability, and good wear resistance even under higher loads. Thanks to the graphite, it also has improved heat conductivity and reduced absorbency. However, the addition of graphite slightly reduces chemical resistance.
The material’s temperature resistance is -200° to +260°C.
Product examples and applications:
Sliding bearings and bushings, sealing rings, washers and sliding plates, components for the chemical and food industry, parts of pumps and valves, parts exposed to high friction and dynamic loads.
