PVC
Rigid PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a traditional and well-established technical plastic. It features good mechanical strength, excellent chemical resistance to acids, bases, and other agents, and also provides outstanding electrical insulation properties.
The material is self-extinguishing, difficult to ignite, non-absorbent, and dimensionally stable. It can be easily thermoformed and is available in sheets (extruded and molded), rods, and profiles. It meets the requirements of RoHS, ELV, WEEE, and RLAP standards.
Common trade names include: Trovidur, Novodur, Medur.
