Polyurethane
A material that excels in a combination of excellent mechanical properties, high resistance to abrasion and wear, elasticity, high tensile strength, and other parameters. It is resistant to hydrolysis and can therefore be used for long-term contact with water. Selected types are FDA-approved and can also be used in the food industry.
Polyurethanes are well suited for the production of sealing elements and, especially in the field of hydraulics, are the most commonly used material for the manufacture of seals.
Not sure which material is right for your application?
Tell us your operating conditions and we will help you choose the right solution:
- Operating medium (oil, water, air, chemicals, etc.)
- Working pressure and temperature
- Whether the seal is used in a dynamic or static application
- Dimensions or a physical sample
Based on this information, we will recommend the most suitable material and design, and prepare a non-binding quotation.
