PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is an engineering plastic with high mechanical strength, rigidity, and hardness, making it ideal for structural parts subject to higher loads. It excels in low thermal expansion, good tribological properties, and wear resistance. It has stable dimensions, low water absorption, and chemical resistance to oils and acids.

The temperature resistance of the material is -20° to +115°C.
