Polykarbonát

PMMA

PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate), known as acrylic glass, is a transparent thermoplastic with excellent optical clarity, high rigidity, and UV resistance. Compared to polycarbonate, it has better scratch and chemical resistance but lower impact toughness, making it more prone to cracking upon impact. Its ease of machining and aesthetic appearance make it ideal for decorative and transparent applications.

Material temperature resistance: -40° to +80°C

Product examples and applications:

Transparent covers, displays, shields, protective glasses, light panels, decorative and advertising elements, parts exposed to UV radiation where high impact resistance is not required.
