EPDM rubber is resistant to weathering, ozone, UV radiation, and aging, and also has good chemical resistance. It is resistant to acids, alkalis, alcohols, and brake fluid. It is also suitable for long-term contact with water.
It is not resistant to oils, greases, and petroleum products in the long term.
The 60 Sh.A FDA variant meets FDA and EC1935/2004 certifications and is suitable for contact with food. It is a tasteless and odorless material that does not affect the substances it comes into contact with in this regard. It also boasts increased temperature resistance and mechanical properties.
The material’s temperature resistance is -25° to +140°C.
The rubber complies with FDA, EC 1935/2004 REACH, RoHS, and PAH standards.
