Seals for Hydraulics and Pneumatics

We offer a complete range of sealing elements primarily used in hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, but we can also address sealing needs for many other applications. In addition to a wide selection of standardized seal types and dimensions, we also specialize in CNC manufacturing, enabling us to produce custom seals precisely to your specifications and within a very short lead time.

Standard Sealing Elements

Seals used in hydraulics and pneumatics, manufactured in standardized size ranges and materials. The advantage is a lower price due to mass production. The disadvantage is often poorer individual availability and a limited scope of application.

To ensure maximum availability, we closely cooperate with several leading European manufacturers and keep the most commonly used types and sizes in stock.

  • wiper seals, rod seals, piston seals, guide rings, static seals, rotary seals, pneumatic elements, oil seals, O-rings, V-rings, and many other sealing elements
  • we keep a large quantity of standard parts in stock for immediate dispatch
  • manufacturing is carried out in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949, with manufacturing process control according to DIN ISO 2859-1 AQL 1.5
  • we offer quantity discounts, tailored stock solutions, and other benefits

Our CNC Seal Manufacturing

In practice, there are situations where standardized solutions cannot be utilized for various reasons. For these cases, we offer our own CNC manufacturing capabilities. Production is possible from a single piece without the need for mold costs. Thanks to automation, we can efficiently produce even large series.

We maintain a wide range of basic materials in stock to be able to respond flexibly to urgent requirements or the need for only a small quantity.

  • production on a CNC machine up to a diameter of 500 mm (larger diameters in cooperation)
  • production of all hydraulic and pneumatic seals, including atypical profiles and shapes
  • design of custom technical and material solutions according to application requirements
  • flexible and short delivery times thanks to our extensive stock of semi-finished products
  • production from rubbers, polyurethanes, PTFE (including filled variants), and plastics – with over 80 material variants available
  • certified production facilities according to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2016, ISO 14001:2016, and ISO 45001:2018

Measurement of installation spaces, solution design

  • We will measure the required installation dimensions for the correct choice of sealing and propose the most suitable solution based on operational requirements.
  • If it’s not possible to use a standardized type, we will design and subsequently produce a custom element from an appropriately chosen material.
  • We perform installation measurements at our facility, as well as directly at the customer’s site.
  • Recommendations for the design of sealing grooves and other functional surfaces.

Installation of hydraulic and other seals

  • We will perform the installation and fitting of hydraulic sealing elements into the equipment.
  • Recommendations for installation.
  • Assistance with installation of atypical solutions directly at the customer’s site.
  • We also offer installation kits, measuring instruments, and other accessories

Hydraulic cylinder overhaul

  • We perform complete overhauls of hydraulic cylinders and other hydraulic equipment.
  • In addition to fitting, or custom production of new seals, we also perform (if the equipment is heavily worn) machining of metal parts of the equipment to ensure full functionality and longevity.
  • We offer complete metalworking services, locksmith work, production of welded parts, and other related operations.

Sealing elements for other industrial applications

  • Design and production of sealing elements for other industrial applications.
  • Sealing elements for water works.
  • Sealing sleeves for flap and ball valves.
  • Sealing of flanges, covers, closures, expansion joints, and other elements.
  • Atypical applications and custom solutions.

Design, construction, and mechanics

When designing a solution, several factors need to be considered that determine the ideal choice of profile and material used. These primarily include pressure, temperature, speed, and then chemical environment, friction, method of functional surface treatment, and other factors. Based on these factors, we choose a sealing element that ideally meets the demands of the given application and guarantees high sealing effect and longevity.

Requirements for the quality of functional surfaces
Special attention must be paid to the surface finish of functional areas. The purpose is to ensure a surface quality that minimizes abrasion and wear of the seal.

Rod seals, which seal in the opposite position to the moving surface, can be damaged by fine abrasive particles that may adhere to a rough surface. Therefore, rods should have a low surface roughness value, and the surface should be similar to hard chrome and non-rusting. The ideal surface roughness is around 0.3 µm (Ra) or 2.3 µm (Rt).

Piston seals, which seal against the inner surface of the cylinder, are not exposed to the same range of abrasive particles entering from the atmosphere, and therefore can handle a rougher surface. The ideal surface roughness is around 0.5 µm (Ra) or 3.7 µm (Rt). Operating pressure must be taken into account when evaluating surface properties. At higher operating pressures, the film between the seal and the sealing surface is thinner, and friction is greater. Under such operating conditions, the lowest possible surface roughness should be chosen.

The surface quality for static seals should be around 1 µm (Ra) or 7 µm (Rt).

Materials

We use a wide range of materials for seal production.
These primarily include H-PU, NBR, FPM, EPDM, POM, PTFE, and others.

Below you will find an overview and properties of the materials we use. Our offer includes over 80 material variants. We select the material according to application requirements, primarily considering operating temperature, pressure, chemical environment, and other parameters. We also offer materials with FDA approvals and certification, which can be applied, for example, in the food or pharmaceutical industry.
